As part of a collaborative school project, I had the privilege of partnering with a local Non-Profit Organization (NPO), Camp Kee-Mo-Kee, to develop a campaign tailored to their unique needs. Following an insightful meeting with Camp Director Jill, where she emphasized the importance of capturing the authentic ‘essence of camp’ in our designs, our team embarked on a mission to elevate their online presence and effectively communicate their mission.

With a clear directive to encapsulate the rustic charm and spirit of adventure synonymous with the camp experience, I meticulously crafted design elements that reflected these core values. Utilizing a ripped paper effect and hand-picked imagery sourced from the NPO’s gallery, I aimed to evoke the sense of joy and camaraderie fostered by the camp’s activities, from archery to teamwork games.

Recognizing the diverse demographics of Camp Kee-Mo-Kee’s audience, I tailored each social media post to resonate with specific platforms and age groups. Posts for Twitter and Instagram were infused with dynamic visuals and youthful energy to engage younger audiences, while those for Facebook exuded a timeless appeal tailored for an older demographic.

Notably, this project was a competitive student endeavour, with my design concepts vying against those of two other talented classmates. It is with great pride that I share that Camp Director Jill ultimately selected my designs to represent the essence of Camp Kee-Mo-Kee, reaffirming my commitment to delivering impactful and client-centric solutions.
